LEXUS SUPEBCAR
LEXUS’S LF-A supercar concept, this time looking pretty close to production reality. The latest incarnation of the LF-A features bold aerodynamics, including aggressive-looking air intakes for the mid-mounted V10 engine that appear to be modelled on Formula One style ‘turn-ups’. Vast cooling ducts for the radiators are incorporated into the tail-lights, while the rear diffuser features treble exhaust tailpipes in a triangular pattern. Prototypes based on last year's original LF-A concepts have already been seen testing at the Nurburgring, aerodynamics - necessitated by a targeted 320kph top speed - turn out to be fairly close to those of the finished product. only sketchy details have been released about mechanical configuration. The LF-A uses a mid-mounted V10 slated to produce more than 500bhp, putting the LF-A on target for a 320kph top speed.
